Greetings in the name of the Lord of the Church!
During this season of the Church, we give thanks for the gift of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides us throughout our lives in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Spirit reminds us that Jesus has won the victory for us; brings us to the forgiveness of sins; and empowers us to love God and our neighbor. What a blessing God has given to the world! Christus Victor Lutheran Church and Student Center is a university congregation located in the midst of the University of Georgia campus. As a mission of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we are reaching out to the University of Georgia, Athens, and the greater Athens community with the good news in word and deed.
